EXCEPTIONAL NORTHERN ITALIAN BAROQUE PERIOD WALNUT AND BURL TWO-PIECE CABINET

The upper section with a pair of scrolling crests each centered by a pierce-carved medallion containing pomegranates over  a pair of arched and molded doors incorporating burl panels each flanked by a richly carved double-ionic capital with pomegranate swags continuing to a burl paneled column; the lower section with the columns continuing down and flanking a pair of shorter octagonal-molded doors with burl paneling; the whole resting on a molded plinth.
