We feature selections from many of the most talented artists who attended The San Francisco Art Institute during the post-war years of 1945 -1965.

These artists were colorful and bigger than life, a group deeply influenced by nature, jazz, and the local political scene of the 1950s.  They developed the San Francisco School of Abstract Expressionism.
