Specializing in 16th, 17th, and 18th century Continental furniture, tapestries, and works of art,
Foster-Gwin .offers a collection that has been carefully edited with an eye to outstanding design, originality, proportion, and color. The gallery is housed in its own historic mid-nineteenth century stables located in Jackson Square, San Francisco's oldest neighborhood and premier antiques destination.

California, with its climate and architecture, provides an ideal backdrop for Mediterranean furniture. Foster-Gwin has put together one of the largest and finest collections of Italian period furniture in the United States. Honored to work with many of the world's finest architects and interior designers, Foster-Gwin also takes great pleasure in helping to build the collections of passionate private collectors.

A long standing member in C.I.N.O.A., the Art and Antiques Dealers League of America, and the Antiques Dealers Association of California, Foster-Gwin exhibits at the San Francisco Fall Antiques Show, and both the International Fine Art and Antique Dealers Show and the Winter Antiques Show in New York.
